Review a supplier return's stock and payable effects without assuming a dedicated return action exists.

Step by step

  1. 1Open the original supplier bill and inspect its recorded quantities, payment state and supporting documents.
  2. 2Agree the return and supplier credit details before changing inventory or outstanding balances.
  3. 3Check the available authorised stock-correction and accounting processes with your accountant.
  4. 4Retain the supplier credit note and return evidence as supporting records, and reconcile the resulting stock and payable balances.

The current ERP navigation does not expose a dedicated purchase-return screen or a general Create Return action on bills. Do not use sales returns for supplier returns or assume stock and A/P will reverse automatically.
