Understand when stock fulfilment is recorded separately from financial documents.
Step by step
- 1Confirm whether Separate GRNs and deliveries is enabled for the applicable stock workflow. Do not assume every workspace uses the same stock policy.
- 2For the separate-fulfilment workflow, open Inventory → Stock Fulfilment and use the relevant supplier goods receipt process.
- 3Select the applicable source and branch, then record the quantities that physically arrived. Include batch and expiry details where required.
- 4Review remaining quantities before completing a receipt so partial deliveries are not received twice.
- 5Record the supplier bill through Purchasing → Bills for the financial liability and check the associated physical receipt separately.
For opted-in stock fulfilment, bills do not substitute for physical goods receipts and invoices do not substitute for dispatch. Other workflows retain their existing document-driven stock behaviour.
