Freeze a snapshot, count each item, and post adjustments to reconcile the difference.

A physical count (stock take) is a periodic process where you count all items on hand and reconcile the result with the system. MSME Link supports a staged workflow with a snapshot that freezes quantities at the start of the count.
- 1Go to Inventory → Stock Adjustments and click New Physical Count.
- 2Select the branch and the scope (all items or a specific category).
- 3MSME Link freezes a snapshot of current quantities. You can continue trading — movements during the count are tracked separately.
- 4Count each item and enter the physical quantity.
- 5Review the variance report. Items with discrepancies are highlighted.
- 6Submit for approval and confirm to post the adjustment journals.
