Capacity planning and production approvals

Check work-centre load and review controlled release, excess issue and closure actions.

Step by step

1. 1In Production Planning, the owner enables Capacity planning and any required release, excess issue or variance closure approvals.
2. 2Set the variance threshold and configure the relevant approval stages in Settings → Approval Workflows.
3. 3Open Capacity to review planned work-centre load against available hours by date. Check calendars, operation times and branch scope.
4. 4When an action creates a pending control request, review it in Approvals rather than repeating the original action blindly.
5. 5After approval, return to Production Planning → Control requests and click Apply. Read any validation error and correct the underlying issue before retrying.
