Quality, batches and finished output

Inspect production results, manage rework and receive eligible finished goods.

Step by step

1. 1In Quality and output → Settings, enable the features required by your workspace. Configure a BOM's normal loss allowance where appropriate.
2. 2Enable batch and expiry tracking only for the relevant products. Create the product's inspection plan under Plans if quality control is required.
3. 3Record inspection results under Inspections against the correct order and plan. Review failures before proceeding.
4. 4Use Rework for the available rework process and resolve outstanding quality requirements.
5. 5Under Output, select an eligible order whose operations are finished and required quality checks allow receipt.
6. 6Review quantities and manufacture dates, add expiry details where required and include configured additional outputs. Receive finished output.
7. 7Review the received batch in Inventory → Stock Batches and check its traceability information.
