Record actual manufacturing work against the released operation instead of changing the original plan.

Step by step

  1. 1Open Production → Shop floor with Manage Production access and select the correct branch and work centre.
  2. 2Select an available order operation. If it cannot start, check the order release and preceding operation status.
  3. 3Start the operation and record actual component issues. Use the relevant batch details when batch tracking applies.
  4. 4Record labour for the relevant employee and the supported hourly or piece basis. Review setup time separately from production run time.
  5. 5Record operation output and losses accurately, then finish the operation. If overhead absorption is enabled, valid overhead rules are required.
  6. 6Move to the next work centre and repeat until the released routing is complete.

Shop-floor entry is online-only. Labour absorption allocates production cost into WIP; it does not create a second salary payment. Employee production rates are separate from payroll salary.
